My brother Tommy has told this 'Fairy Tale' since the girls were itsy bitsy. Sheila (shown here with Tommy) and I love it so much. They are both a little rusty, I kind of caught them off guard when I asked them to tell it to the camera, but as you can tell 10+ years later, they hardly missed a beat. I wanted to be able to keep this forever. There are some things that I miss horribly about my relatives that are no longer with us, and so I want to try and 'capture' classic things of the people I love. You may not love this as we do, but it truly is a Frichtel Classic. Thank you Thomas and Sheshe for your performance! xo

November 1. ALREADY!!
Good Morning!!
I can hardly belive its November already. Sheesh. This weekend has been a busy one, and will be even today. Let me tell you, I love busy so much more than NOT. Friday I worked, then did some things with my sis afterwards. Came home, cleaned the house and made a nice dinner for my husband. I wanted to go to the game so badly, but he worked late, and honestly I don't have money for a $6 ticket. Sad huh? My financial life is a mess. Mine is, my husband seems to be ok, but when he gives me money, I feel, I feel.... I don't know. Ashamed that I don't have any of my own. Seems I get paid and the money is gone. Ugh. My husband's mother used to always say 'One day you'll be ok'... wrong! Its more like 'at one time I was ok, then the fit hit the shan'. ANYWHO.
Saturday started of EARLY. Picked up my dad and went to my sisters and then we headed off to the lawyers. There were 7 of us there. Very VERY emotionally draining. Feelings that I bury just came pouring out. I hate that about me. I want to be a stone. Cold and heartless about things that make me break down. (Yeah, I know some of you think I am, but you.., nevermind). We were there for a few hours, then we all went to my cousins and had coffee and muffins and discussed the events of the lawyers visit. I have to leave this subject. Even just typing about it, its too hard.
Took my dad home, then went and did some baby shower shopping, then came and got Spikey and went to the cabin we are having the shower at in just a few hours. Poked around and came back home. Did a few loads of laundy then headed downtown to visit my husband before I left for the night. Then went and picked up my folks and headed to the High School. We laughed all night long. Lately it seems like when we are together, they don't bicker, they quote their favorite show, they laugh all night. I love that. Its never been this way before. Then my sister and Billy came, but Billy wanted to sit somewhere else, so we saved the seats in front in hopes that my brother was coming. Not long after, Volchko came, then some of my friends were there and we laughed and talked, then Tommy and Angie and Ashley (not my Ashlie) came. We had a BALL!!! None of us hit the 50/50, or the Spartan Lottery, but we just had so much fun. Brice saw us and came over and gave me a hug, and well he knew everyone in our 'pack' except my folks, so I introduced him to them, and then Brenden was the star of the night, we went over afterwards and passed out hugs to him and Bri and by this time She was off doing her thing, so we all took off. I have to say, it was such a beautiful night. And I want to say thank you to Volch for staying with my parents while I got the car, and helping them get in. That was so nice of you. Thank you. Then I took them home and came home and started downloading the videos. My pooped out husband was sound asleep when I got home.
Today I have to clean the house, run to Sam's club, come and get the girls and mom from here (they are all meeting here around 10) and we will head down and have a PARTAYYYYY!! Oh I can't wait for Karlie. I wish Candyce would bring Zailin today. I wonder if I could convince her...
Anyways, I am sure you are bored to tears by now (and honestly, I have no clue why you even read my about my boring life, but Thank YOU!!) I need to shower and get a move on. I'll post pics this week of the shower. Have a good Sunday.

Frichtel Newsletter
Greetings my dear family!!
I am going to get together with my dad and sis one day ... possibly this week, and write a little family newsletter about the reunion. If you have any thoughts, numbers, notes, things you noticed, things you just want to share, you can post it on here, or you can just email it to frichtel@gmail.com or auntiem4cabs@yahoo.com and I will include it in the newsletter, which I will mail out. I miss those letters, I miss them more when they were from my DAD!! But I think we need to do that again.
This page is here for you. I spend enough time on my 'grapefruitjuicyfruit' blog, and decided that I need to actually work on this. Its for our family!! I really wish EVERYONE had the internet, but since that'll never happen, its best to send out the newsletter to have in our hands.

Robbie Maine and Lauren Hess
Robbie and Lauren were married on July 29th. That is Dawna and Robbie's birthday as well. Poor Lauren will have to buy alot of gifts in July!! ;)

Ida Marie Johnson Roman, 96, a resident of Barnes House, Derry Township, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Barnes House. She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Samuel A. and Anna Frichtel Johnson. She was a graduate of the Latrobe High School "Class of 1930." In 1978, she retired from the Lightcap, McDonald and Moore law firm, where she had been a legal secretary for 40 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Rose Roman Catholic Church and a former member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. A member of the Catholic Daughters of America (CD of A), Court St. Xavier No. 230, for 75 years, she had served as treasurer, lecturer, financial secretary and counselor for the Junior Catholic Daughters. She had also been a member of the Loyalhanna Community Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Roman; her son, retired Marine Lt. Col. Joseph G. Roman; brothers, Lawrence Frichtel and John Johnson; and a nephew, James Frichtel. She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Roman Dougherty and husband, Robert, of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, David V. Roman and wife, Mary, of Loyalhanna; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews, including Lillian Pishioneri, of Freehold, N.J. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Parastas services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Panachida services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by the Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Barnes House, 2021 James St., Latrobe, PA 15650.

An Update From Terri Ann!
TODAY, MATT'S TRACK SPRINTERS AND HIGH JUMPERS WILL BE COMPETING IN RAVENNA TO ADVANCE TO THE REGIONAL FINALS. SATURDAY THEY RUN AND JUMP FOR THE ADVANCEMENT TO STATE. I AM PRAYING FOR HIS SAKE THAT THEY GO ONTO STATE. HE HAS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB WITH THESE YOUNG MEN. HE TALKED TO THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR AND ASKED WHEN HE CAN APPLY FOR THE COACH POSITION FOR NEXT YEAR. THE DIRECTOR TOLD HIM "CONSIDER THIS YOUR JOB NEXT YEAR"!!! MY MOM AND DAD WILL MEET ME AT THE RAVENNA HIGH SCHOOL TRACK TODAY TO SEE HIS TEAM COMPETE AGAINST ALL THE REGIONS BEST!!! THIS IS THE TRACK THAT MATT RAN AT TO GET TO STATE, SO THIS WILL BE SOO EXCITING FOR HIM. HE AND THE OTHER COACH LEAVE AT 11:30 TODAY WITH THE GUYS WHO QUALIFIED.
LAST NIGHT MAGGIE RECEIVED AN AWARD FOR ALL "A'S" THIS ENTIRE YEAR!!! SHE WAS ONE OF ONLY 5 KIDS IN HER ENTIRE CLASS TO GET THIS AWARD. I TOLD HER SHE CAN BE THE VALIDICTORIAN OF HER CLASS IN 5 YEARS. YESTERDAY WAS ALSO ELLA'S 5 MONTH OLD DAY!!! SHE IS SOO DAMN CUTE AND HER EYES ARE SO BEAUTIFUL.
BILL AND I ARE DOING GREAT AND LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING THE BOAT OUT ON SUNDAY.
SATURDAY IS CARLA'S COLLEGE GRADUATION PArTY THAT HER SISTER IS THROWING.
THE PUP IS DOING GREAT AND WEIGHS 60# ALREADY. HE IS 7 MONTHS OLD AND GETTING SO FUN AND BAD. HE IS SUCH A SNUGGER, BUT IS SO DARN SNEAKY WITH DOING THINGS HE SHOULDN'T.
HOW IS EVERYONE AT YOUR HOUSE???? LET US KNOW WHAT'S UP.
